Azacitidine, (Azashine) works for treating some kinds of blood cancer. It is used for the treatment of adult patients with all subtypes of Myelodysplastic Syndrome (MDS). It may be also used to treat other conditions, as determined by the doctor. It’s a doctor prescription (Azacitidine) medicine.

Take this medicine in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Swallow it as a whole. Do not chew, crush or break it. Azashine tablet may be taken with or without food, but it is better to take it at a fixed time.

Side effects:

The most common side effects of Azacitidine are:

Tiredness, redness/pain/bruising at the injection site, diarrhea, dizziness, trouble sleeping, constipation, nausea, vomiting, mouth sores, dry skin, headache, and loss of appetite. Tell your doctor or pharmacist right away if any of these side effects persist or worsen.
