Indication:

Dosage:

Ponatinib (brand name Iclusig) is an oral cancer medicine used to treat certain types of leukemia, such as chronic myeloid leukemia (CML) and acute lymphoblastic leukemia (ALL) with the Philadelphia chromosome mutation (Ph+). The usual starting dose is 45 mg once daily, taken with or without food. However, the dose may be lowered to 15 mg or 30 mg daily depending on how the patient responds or if side effects occur. Tablets should be swallowed whole with water.

Note:

Dose adjustments are common due to risks like blood clots, high blood pressure, or liver problems.

Regular blood tests and monitoring are needed to check response and detect side effects early.
